Spring weather in South Dakota can be unpredictable so having clothing fit to keep you comfortable in the field is a must. Keep an eye on the weather leading up to your hunt and pack accordingly. Fields are generally wet during this time of year so we recommend bringing waterproof clothing to keep you dry in the field.
Non-toxic ammunition is legally required. We recommend 3" or 3.5" shells and 3 shot, 2 shot, 1 shot, or BB. We also recommend bringing 2-3 boxes of shells for each day of your hunt.
Our clients are responsible for cleaning their own birds. We offer a bird cleaning room as well as a chest freezer for bird storage during your hunt. Birds are legally required to have a fully feathered wing or head attached for transport until the bird arrives at the hunters place of residence. We recommend that you bring knives, 2 gallon ziplock bags, and a large cooler(s) for transporting the birds home.
